Landscape Ideas - Plantings

Perennials

Plant it and forget it? ...well almost. Planting perennial flowers and plants means year-after-year of enjoying succulents, wildflowers, ground cover, grasses...flowers of all shapes, sizes, and colors.
Borders

Flower borders are commonly used in landscape design. They are favored over permanent structures because they add color, softness, and diversity.
Grasses

Planting grasses on a hillside is ideal for controlling erosion and maintaining stability. This hillside is landscaped in a variety of grass plantings for attractive and functional purposes.
Stone and Flower Combination

Large stones and colorful flowers; together they make a natural pairing. We like to integrate stone with various types of foliage to make an interesting garden that is pleasing to the eye.
Trees

The purpose of using trees in a landscape might be for shade, but it might also be to provide a contrast of height, color, and texture. A garden without decorative trees is like a day in Seattle without sunshine...it's just gloomy.
