IRRIGATION

Automatic irrigation systems are a great solution for people who want to enjoy their landscaped areas but not be a slave to the maintenance of their greenery. Irrigation protects your gardening and landscaping investment while immediately adding value to your home.

Water conservation is the main reason for an automatic irrigation system. An automatic system delivers a gentle, consistent watering for a thorough penetration preventing runoff and wasted water. Automatic systems are available with sensors to prevent over-saturation during rainy periods.

The three types of irrigation used by Environmental Construction, Inc. are drip, spray heads and rotor heads.

Drip

Used for potted plants, ground covers and vegetable gardens.

Drip emitters minimize erosion by operating under low pressure, allowing the water to soak in. They also minimize weed growth by delivering water directly to your plant's root zone.

Spray Heads

Used for planting beds and turf areas.

Spray heads produce a static spray band of a set pattern depending on the type chosen (1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full, or variable circle). Pop-up heads rise when water is turned on and retract when not in use.

Rotor Heads

Used primarily for turf areas.

Rotor heads are best in areas greater than 30 feet wide. Pop-up heads rise when water is turned on and retract when not in use.
